I'm Tricia Shafer, co-founder of Knitters Edge and it's main designer & writer.  I've been knitting since the age of 7, and can't imagine life without it!  My love of knitting, as my mother will tell you, is the result of her knitting a pillow top while going into labor with me.  I guess you could say that I was born with it.

After designing fashion for 10 years, I decided a change in life style would be nice.  That's when I co-founded Knitters Edge.  The internet is a great tool for teaching & learning.  With our subscriptions for hand knitting & machine knitting, learning how to knit is a breeze.  Plus you will be inspired with fresh patterns and original techniques.
