Ten:  5 or 6
Size:  4" X 2 1/2" Approx.

E wrap CO 15 -0- 15 in red.  * K 2 R in red.  K 2 R in white.*  
Repeat from * to * 2 more times.  Total of 3 stripes in each color.

Take the left 17 st. off on WY.  Knit 1 row on remaining 13 st. in blue.  Program star design so that the left side of the design begins on nd. #4R.  Knit star design using white as the contrast color.  Knit 3 rows in blue.  Take st. off on WY.

Hang the 17 st. from WY on needles 15 -0- 2.  Start carriage on left.  Hang on 1 bar from blue knit on nd. #2R  You will sew as you knit the blue to the stripes.
** K 2 R in red.  Hang the next bar in blue.  K 2 R in white.  Hang the next bar in blue. **
Repeat from ** to ** until you have 4 red & 3 white stripes.  You will end in red.

Hang the blue st. on WY.  K 1 loose R in red.  K 26 rows in red.

Hang hem & latch tool BO.  

Sew side seams flat & press.  Attach it to a stick or wear as a lapel pin.
